Summary: divmod documentation shd reference // not /
Initial Comment:
At http://docs.python.org/lib/typesnumeric.html we find:
divmod(x, y) the pair (x / y, x % y) (3)(4)
This should be:
divmod(x, y) the pair (x // y, x % y) (3)(4)
At
http://docs.python.org/lib/built-in-funcs.html#built-in-funcs
we find:
divmod( a, b)
.... For plain and long integers, the result is the
same as (a / b, a % b).
This should be:
.... For plain and long integers, the result is the
same as (a // b, a % b).
Alternatively there could be a reference to
"from __future__ import division"
but the proposed change is cleaner and will last.

Agreed. This should be changed in the documentation before
it becomes wrong in Py3k ;)
