Summary: Multiple interpreters break exceptions
Initial Comment:
When creating multiple interpreters, the initialization
of exceptions in the second interpreter created
overwrites the globals set by the first interpreter,
thereby messing up the identities of exceptions.

I took a closer look, and I can't reproduce this, with or
without the call to _PyImport_FixupExtension().
So I'm closing this as irreproducible.

Reassigning back to Guido to remind him to take a closer
look, and provide more information.

This might be related to SF bug #422004, but then again it
may not. So far I found a reproducible problem.
