Bug #113091, was updated on 2000-Aug-29 21:57
Here is a current snapshot of the bug.
Project: Python
Category: Core
Status: Closed
Resolution: None
Bug Group: Feature Request
Priority: 5
Summary: ExtensionClass should be in the core
Details: ExtensionClass, or something like it, should be part of the core interpreter. Such a facility would be used by builders of large sets of extensions to help manage internal type relationships.
The Gtk+/Gnome extensions are already moving to ExtensionClass, and James Henstridge (the author) has indicated that he'd like to see better integration.
Perhaps for 2.1?
