New issue 2167: "cannot find gc roots!" occurs infrequently on PyPy 2.6.1 + gevent

Jay Oster:

This occurs very infrequently. We have a cluster running 480 instances of PyPy + gevent. And over a 3 week period, we hit this error a total of 12 times.

Because of the low frequency of occurrence, there isn't much we care to do about it (the service restarts automatically). And due to having no other information reported during the error condition, I have no way to help identify its cause.

I'm willing to run one of the machines with a debug build of PyPy if that will help isolate the issue. The only trouble there is that it will be a waiting game for it to happen next. If anyone can provide instructions (or a precompiled debug build for Ubuntu) that would be immediately helpful.
