I can't get a simple rffi example to translate on my system. Whenever I create an ExternalCompilationInfo instance the translation fails with

Note that if you're translating code outside the PyPy repository, a likely cause is that py.test's --assert=rewrite mode is getting in the way.  You should copy the file pytest.ini from the root of the PyPy repository into your own project.
```

I've copied pytest.ini but it doesn't change anything. I've attached a minimal example that reproduces the error on my system and the full output when trying to translate it.
