I think we will classify this as a "wontfix".  I tried and failed to fix it, and
more importantly, it behaves differently if you have new-style classes instead
of old-style.  See https://bugs.pypy.org/issue412 for the kind of hassle that
"fixing" this would be.  It would really be an anti-fix, adding even more
special-cases in descroperation.py...
