[PyPy-issue] [issue580] Broken pipe error during sandbox installation?

IOError: [Errno 32] Broken pipe

Am very limited in my Python programming, so not sure how to fix this. Any help
appreciated. This happens during a sandbox installation on a Ubuntu 8 VM, 1.5gb RAM.
