Make sure you insert the correct license number though; i couldn't find 2.1. Thanks for the note. The AFL link did go to a copy of the original opensource.org page about the AFL 2.1 which had been removed a couple of years ago. It seems the same has happened to the blog post now and this redirects to the blog home page. To find all of them requires reading the Standard Library docs sequentially. Searching for -m only finds the documentation for python -m, and many search engines use "-m" as "omit pages with the word m". I first tried asking on Stack Overflow, and was told it is out of scope there: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/34770555/what-python-standard-library-modules-can-execute-as-scripts-with-m I think a page listing the standard modules that can run as scripts would be useful, and wiki.python.org would be a good home for it, so that it could be kept up-to-date by the community. The interesting part is that *if* a standard library module (or in fact an add-on module not included in the standard library) has been written to be executable standalone, then using "-m modname" goes and finds it in the path so you don't have to locate the file yourself. My background is not in computer science, but I've earned a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and have an equivalent minor in computer science. I did front end project with HTML, CSS3 & Media Query, and JavaScript myself, but hope to work with someone to learn from. I'm a hard worker and responsible person and do my best to contribute to the organization. Have a nice day, Truong Nguyen -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Unfortunately I can't help you with that problem, but I'm forwarding this to the mailing list. Are you sure it's actually freezing, not just being slow? The wiki is slow occasionally (depending on server load, presumably).
