That's sitting on my plate to finish up defining the fields we're going
to use. Nobody other than Richard commented on my design, and I've been
busy gearing up now that my contract with Addison Wesley has been
signed. (My book will actually be published as _Effective Python, after
all.)

We're still waiting for Thomas to provide us with a machine. It's
probably been long enough to make a ping worthwhile.

One of the great things about Open Source is that if you're doing useful
work, it doesn't matter that much precisely what work you're doing. ;-)
There's *always* too much work.

(And it's always much easier to write a response that doesn't require
thinking than it is to do Real Work....)

many other languages & styles: boring syntax, unsurprising semantics,

about it." --Tim Peters on Python, 16 Sep 93
