Is it possible to do both? i.e. Do the runner job and bid for item in the auction. However you can do proxy bidding. That is have someone else do the bidding for you. When this is done, you can not take part in the auction of the item, and you can not communicate with the person doing the bidding. Sometimes we will do some theater with this type of bidding, and all attendees know what is going on, and have some fun with it. If you were planning on bidding on multiple items, I request that you do not volunteer. -Doug Napoleone On Thu, May 2, 2019 at 4:08 PM Mathieu Dugr? wrote: > Hi, > > I would like to do the role of runner for the pyladies auction however I > am registered to participate to the auction. > Is it possible to do both? i.e. Do the runner job and bid for item in the > auction. > > Thank you and have a nice day, > Mathieu Dugr? > _______________________________________________ > Pycon-volunteers mailing list > Pycon-volunteers at python.org > https://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/pycon-volunteers > -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
