[omaha] Where does installing from source install to?

I downloaded the current source code from reportlab into my Downloads
folder in Ubuntu.

Then to install it I ran:
sudo venv/bin/python ~/Downloads/reportlab/setup.py install

and it installed, but I cannot figure out where it installed to - where is
the reportlab folder that I expected to be in
venv/lib/python/site-packages/?

There is a reportlab....egg file there...
