those that don't know.  The new releases of python are getting closer.

Python 2.6rc2 and Python 3.0rc1 released

The second release candidate for Python
2.6<http://python.org/download/releases/2.6/>and first
release candidate for Python 3.0
<http://python.org/download/releases/3.0/>are now available.
