[Numpy-discussion] diferences between frompyfunc & vectorize

Hello,
what are the differences between the two transformation functions
frompyfunc & vectorize

* http://docs.scipy.org/doc/numpy/reference/generated/numpy.frompyfunc.html

I cannot see the which one I shall prefer for what purpose.
