[Ncr-Python.in] [PyDelhi] Minutes of meetup

Hello everyone,

So the much awaited meetup of June was held today at Stirring Minds
(location arranged by Amit Sethi). Here is a brief summary of the
events. My apologies in advance if i missed out on some things plz
feel free to contribute. Also a small note for role specific call for
volunteers we will be sending out another mail with a form to submit
your interest in various fields and branches plz don't start calling
here itself.
So here goes the summary:
- introductions:
        - it was a very decent turnout around 30 or more people showed up.
    - why pydelhi?
        - saurabh explanined why we have renamed ourselves
    - disscussion about pycon 2016 feasiblity and strengthning the resolve
    - discussion about mini pycon and other repsonsiblity available in 2015
    - talks proposal for python delhi
        - we have untill october to pycon 2015
        - we are planning to have atleast 6 talks recorded and put up
on youtube channel.
        - a mail tread is already there asking for proposals and
ideas. Jump in on the discussion there. Spread the word out on social
media as well.
    - discussion about readily available venues for regular meetups:
        - grophers(gurgaon)
        - lyxel labs(gurgaon)
        - jnu
        - 91 springboard(Okhla)
        - Sarai
        - ophio(noida)
        - can be your place as well as long as it is in the delhi-ncr
limits and accessible by general mode of transport.
    - Flash talks:
        - open source lab in a bag(open hardware and open software with python)
        - introduction to pychill
        - home automation
        - how can the community work with the startups
        - we will be uploading the videos recorded by mobiles on our
channel in the next couple of days. They are not very high quality.
        - we are working to sort the video recording and live
streaming part better.

    - Call for volunteers to stregthen our proposal for Pycon India 2016:
        - Pycon india till now have been a total voluneter errort
right from setting up website, wifi, streaming videos, arranging
venues, finding speakers(Keynote), filtering talks, arranging
cattering ticketing, registerations, managing sound systems and much
much more.
        - Volunteers are an essential part in organizing pycon event
        - Various and roles you can volunteer for are:
            - Marketing (media partners, social media, website)
            - Sponsors affairs:
                - volunteer the task for pycon2015 buy getting in

                - Long shot on this one but getting sponsors for
possible Pycon 2016 (Delhi)
            - Location affairs (venue, hotel, parties, catering,
equipment, wifi)
                - Finding venues
                    - for local events like meetups and workshops
                    - for big events like mini pycon and pycon
                - getting the facilities like internet(wifi), video
recording, live stream, projectors, speaker systems etc
                    - for big events like mini pycon and pycon
                - Food/Catering:
                    - one of the most important thing at any big or small event
                    - people at banglore have kept a very high
standard for it. So a tough job :)
            - Administration (ticket sales, attendee database, customer support)
            - Speakers’ affairs

    - Snacks and group photos.
