I am using it in my training as a GSM/GPRS Systems Engineer for a telecommunications company. I am documenting my training as I go along in hopes it will be helpful for new employees that will follow me. I have a few questions though: 1. I installed IIS on my WIN2K and my website resides in C: \Inetpub\wwwroot\ and my MoinMoin is in Python20\MoinMoin\ Any time I insert an image I keep them in my wwwroot\training\images\ So each time I insert a hyperlink to an image I need to type in http://mh0792/images/myImage.gif. Is there a way to tell MoinMoin to always look in images and any subdirectories there under when looking for links? 2. Is this the best setup that I have or should I integrate the Python dir and the IIS directory structures better? I am sure that I will have more questions for you as I go along so please by patient with me. I hope in the long run I will be able to contribute to this list in the future as well. You have two options: 1. the directory with the system images (what "url_prefix" points to) is accessible via the "Icon" macro. 2. You can add any URL to the "interwiki.txt" file and thus address image like "Image:foo.gif". >2. This does not work and the images still appears in the actual document. Bracketeted links need a schema: [wiki:FundaMentals:Image1.gif ... I tried this but that did not work either. How do I set up schemes? Idiot proof help needed here. Secondly I have created 2 macros: Acronyms and AcronymIndex Acronyms is basically just used to markup a link that points to a page that explains the acronyms (AcronymIndex) As an example let?s say I am explaining wave motion in a document and I would like to explain the acronym FM to the user further so I do the following: Frequency Modulation or [[Acronym(FM)]] All the user sees is FM When he clicks on FM he is brought to the AcronymIndex which is created by the macro AcronymIndex. It is basically a page that looks like the TitleIndex page. I would like to improve this and bring the user to the heading F as that is the first letter in the acronym (acronyms are grouped alphabetically by their first letter). My attempt was to do the following in the Acronym macro. return Page('AcronymIndex#%s' % first_letter_in_acronym).link_to(acronym) I found that quoteFileName does not allow # so I just added # to the list of safe characters (safe = string.letters + string.digits + '#' ) Is this OK? Is it maybe possible to add another argument to the Page constructor that allows a named link such as __init__(self, pageName, namedLink, **keywords) ? This is not the only such line, just at an unavoidable place. ;) Since I work with >= 2.0 at work and at home and use the features of it, I'm inclined to drop 1.5 support for the next release. Otherwise I always have to restrict myself to use now familiar syntax. And the license issues that withheld updates in many linux distros etc. are now gone. Another reason to drop 1.5. Ciao, J?rgen
