Well, that is true, but fundamentally none of the semantic differences
between US and UK English usages are at all likely to come up in the
context of anything within Mailman *itself*.  They might come up in
discussions *on lists*, but really the only differences that would
affect Mailman are variations in spelling — and it's a pretty safe bet
there that practically anyone who is subscribing to a Mailman list in
the first place isn't going to be thrown by those minor differences.
It's not as though UK English spells password "phaughtrufflemote" or
anything like that.
