Install directly from 2.1.20 following
<http://www.list.org/mailman-install/index.html> (also in the tarball).
If you install the RHEL/CentOS package, you have to deal with things being spread all over. See <http://wiki.list.org/x/8486953>. This makes an upgrade from source difficult at best. The only reason to do it is if you run with SELinux enabled. That causes difficulty if you don't do it the Red Hat way.
