/etc/mailman/adm.pw must be readable by Mailman's group (I think 
'mailman' in the CentOS package.

This may be a file or a symlink to something like 
/var/lib/mailman/data/adm.pw. In any case, the target needs to be group 
mailman and mode 0640.

Running

sudo bin/check_perms -f

should fix this.
