This is strange. You are saying that the Postfix log shows that the
message was sent out 2 days prior to Mailman's delivering it to
Postfix.

Are you sure you are not looking at entries for the incoming message to
Mailman in the Postfix log?

Is there anything in Mailman's smtp-failure log?

See <http://www.openspf.org/>. This has nothing to do with Mailman, and
if anything would probably result in google/gmail treating the message
as spam, not delaying it.

Yes, but it is a problem with your DNS configuration, not a Mailman
problem.

This too indicates DNS issues, not Mailman issues.
