I can think of one more possibility -

I have some users that have complained that they sometimes don't  
receive email.  After digging deeper for more detail, we found they  
don't receive email that they sent to themselves, which means if they  
email a list that they are on, they don't receive the message back  
again.  But everyone else receives it.

Maybe that happened to you Tecru?

I know that Google / Gmail behaves this way, because that's what I  
use, and I cannot receive my own emails.
