Your original post contained the following, presumably contained in the
mailman.conf installed by the rpm.

which looks like the URL you're going to is http://.../mailman and
getting redirected (302 status) as opposed to http://.../mailman/listinfo.
This, together with the fact that you say (in another off list message)
that the problem only occurs with listinfo, seems to say that the
problem is somehow related to the RedirectMatch. Presumably, it doesn't
really say "www.example.com". What does it say? and what is the
access_log entry immediately following the one above for the same IP?
