That's the whole FAQ.  Trying to find 3.53 in there will be like 
looking for a needle in a haystack.  Go to the index and pull up just 
3.53.

It don't directly address that issue, no.  However, it does reference 
tools that let you do pretty much all the standard administration 
functions which would normally be done by command-line tools on the 
server side, and to instead script them through the web interface.

Since what you want to do could be done through the web interface 
anyway, what you want to achieve is just a matter of automating those 
actions.
