Okay, did that 

make clean
./configure --with-mail-gid=root --with-cgi-gid=www-data
make install
Stop & Start MTA and Mailman

but sill:

Child process of mailman_transport transport returned 2 from command: /usr/local/mailman/mail/mailman

Did this as well: Changed the group to mail, stopped and started exim and then
make clean
./configure --with-mail-gid=mail --with-cgi-gid=www-data
make install
Stop and Start Mailman but still

Child process of mailman_transport transport returned 2 from command: /usr/local/mailman/mail/mailman

I´m running out of ideas ;(
