[Mailman-Users] mail2news gateway question

I'm trying to locate information on the mail2news gateway that's available  
in Mailman but I"m not sure where to look; I correctly am able to  get messages 
made to my list to post to usenet, but am unable to get  messages posted to 
usenet mailed to my list; i do have the hostname and  groupname correctly set, 
both posts to the mailing list and posts to the  newsgroup are checked as yes; 
the groups are not moderated (comp.sys.atari.8bit  for example); anything 
else?
 
Is it something on the server side (news.rtdos.com) that needs to be  changed
