Mark Sapiro, or one of the other core developers, may have a better 
answer for you.  However, I strongly suspect that your problem is a 
result of not having reverse DNS for the IP address behind your 
NAT'ed firewall, so either Mailman or your web server is substituting 
the IP address instead.
