[Mailman-Users] Non members to view archives selectively?

You could consider using an external archiver rather than the one 
internal to Mailman - for example Mhonarc. Though of course that makes 
life more complicated as you'd then have to use an external mechanism to 
control access, but it will give you more flexibility and the ability to 
easily read attachments, etc.

It would seem odd to me that you want to have people be able to read the 
  archives, but then be able to stop them from getting the email?
