How do you moderate those messages? If you are using older version of
Mailman and put some in bounce_matching_headers, you should upgrade to
2.1.5 and use new header_filter_rules to reject or discard them.

Also, the next release will have ability to "scrub" the attachments in
pipermail archive area. This was developed for use in message archiving
and extended to be useed in the regular delivery. If you are interested
in this feature, you can get it from Sourceforge CVS (Release_2_1-maint)
for testing and feedback to Mailman-Developers.
