	Mailman will send out a message that they can reply to by e-mail, 
or they can click on a link.  Either way, the result will be the same 
-- the subscription will be confirmed.

	There are templates that can be edited, but doing so would 
require direct access to the template files.  You'd need to ask your 
hosting provider for assistance with that.

	Beyond that, if you look at the admin interface for the list, 
there are a variety of places where you can customize some of the 
text that is used for various functions.  Each of these places 
includes a short description of what the customized text would be 
used for, along with a link to additional information on that subject.
