It looks like this is a bug with mailman.
I have done some more testing, and I have found that my list behaves the
same way the mailman-users list behaves. If you go to:
http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-users/
and at the bottom, where it says:
" To unsubscribe from Mailman-Users, get a password reminder, or change
your subscription options either enter your subscription email address:
... or select your entry from the subscribers list (see above). If you
leave the field blank, you will be prompted for your email address "
and enter your email address, the next page has a "Remind' button that
works fine. If you enter your list password on this same page and click
'Log in', the next page is where I am seeing the problem. If you go
there, you will notice the 'Email My Password to Me' and the 'Change My
Password' buttons are non-functional.
