[Mailman-Users] Forwarding Issue

I got a small question.  I have a Mailman list server that I've setup to
collect root mail message.  If on a remote machine I issue the command
"echo Test | mail info at machinename" it goes the list correctly.  I have
info at machinename in my .forward file in root's home directory on the remote
machine, however, it appears that the mail is not posting because of the
"To:" address still says "root at remotemachine".  Is there a way around this
in mailman?
