All of the above listed and intalled:
Debian Woody - Standard (dns server, mail server - then use backports
for Exim4, web server, C and C++, Python, TclTk installed (pet peeve on
the last)

Exim4 - all entries in Main, Router, Transport work fine. Standard mail
works fine.

Mailman2.4.5 - Build with mail gid = daemon (the only one that worked)

Apache web service works fine. All pages shown and accept login

New lists build fine. Notification send fine. Subscription
notification send fine.

/etc/aliases was even changed to show the aliases for list even though
should not be necessary (see previous postings on that one.)

/etc/hosts file is working fine and in accordance with the rules.

##################################################
However:
all posting are sent to the shunt. Running unshunt puts them in the
"in" folder and nothing else.
Exim4 error files show nothing, mainlog shows message sent
appropriately.
Mailman error log shows no entries. Subscribe shows results of Mass
Subscription. Virgin shows up with <stingofnumbers>.pck

I have been working on this for a week and my deadline is drawing near.
Any help or thoughts would be appreciated. I have built and rebuilt
this system so many times and I am so close but I can not get that last
step. This is killing me.

Thanks in advance,
Jim Clark

Linux User since 1996 and I still have no clue.........
