[Mailman-Users] Apparently missing methods.

     Hi,

     Newbie here, to mailman anyway.  

     Have the following problem.

service mailman start
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/var/mailman/bin/mailmanctl", line 524, in ?

  File "/var/mailman/bin/mailmanctl", line 274, in check_privs

KeyError: getgrnam(): name not found


Now, according to the following Web page

this has been seen before.  I have rh9 and the python-2.2.2-26 rpm's.
AND I've installed all the rpm's that were in the rh9 distribution.
I'm confused.  I don't know python that well.  But it seems obvious
something is missing.  Here's what's installed

what am I missing here?  Anyone have a clue?  Help appreciated.  Thank
