Hi Richard,

Examining the error of my ways, I changed added the following to the
mm_cfg.py file:

SMTPHOST = 'media.(myhost).net
SMTP_MAX_RCPTS = 10

I got the email when I created a new list, when I clicked on the link to go
to my page I got this error

Mailman CGI error!!!
The expected gid of the Mailman CGI wrapper did not match the gid as set by
the Web server.
The most likely cause is that Mailman was configured and installed
incorrectly. Please read the INSTALL instructions again, paying close
attention to the --with-cgi-gid configure option. This entry is being
stored in your syslog:

Failure to exec script. WANTED gid 99, GOT gid 80. (Reconfigure to take 80?)

I tried to reconfigure, but I don't think I am typing the command right

this is my server:

Port 80
User http
Group http

this is what I am putting in

./configure --with-cgi-gid=80
