OK. I just got onto a system with search integration installed.

You will get this if you did not enter any words to search for on the 
search form. The browser does not transmit the 'words' field in the CGI 
request if the field is empty.

I will look at a revision for the patch to produce a more user friendly 
response about missing search-for words to deal with this situation.
