[Mailman-Users] technical help

I need help with you mailman list server. When i email a post i get permission denied. I need some helpful tips or some kind of insight into what i need to be doing. The alias i am emailing to is /home/mailman/mail/wrapper post test. Test being the list. Which GID am i suppose to have for the mail. I tried 51 and i tried the group mail's(12) GID, but neither of them will let me run ./configure --with-mail-gid ##. Please help.
