[Mailman-Users] Failure to exec script

I am new to Mailman ang get the following error when I send email to a test
list:

Failure to exec script. WANTED gid 12, GOT gid 47.  (Reconfigure to take
47?)

The documentation suggests re-installing Mailman as the solution, I was
wondering if there is anyway around this?

Also, is it possible to dynamically extract subscriber information such as
email addresses from an external db source ?
