[Mailman-Users] How to unsubscribe w/out a password

I want my subscribers to be able to unsubscribe via e-mail without
knowing their password.

This issue was addressed at:

But the solution seems rather complicated. Does anyone know of a simpler
way to disable the requirement for a password?
