[Mailman-Users] Lock File Problem

I have Mailman 2.0.11 installed on my server and I have a mailinglist with 
about 8,000 users. I notice that sometimes when I go into the admin section
and I try to do administration tasks it starts to have problems. I will
sometimes get messages from the script saying "We're sorry, we hit
a bug!". I notice that it creates these lock files in the /home/mailman/locks
that never leave. Is there a solution to this problem?
