[Mailman-Users] How to restrict a list to a given set of networks

How would I best protect a mailinglist
for being accessable just from a given
set of networks?

I know how to protect a directory via
apaches .htaccess mechanism. But which
subdirectories would I have to treat
this way? I not only want to restrict
the list archive but also want to re-
strict the subscription to senders from
my set of networks.
