[Mailman-Users] problems with wrapper

Hi,
	I am experiencing some problems with the mailman wrapper. Actually
I believe it's a sendmail problem but I thought that maybe some of you had
had similar problems and could therefore guide me. . .
	I am still running majordomo so I setted up a symlink called
mailman_wrapper

$ ls -l /usr/local/etc/smrsh.bin/
wrapper -> /usr/local/majordomo/wrapper
mailma_wrapper -> /usr/local/mailman/mail/mailman_wrapper

I have also changed the lines in /etc/mail/aliases to reflect the previous
changes (I have even patched bin/newlists).
Every time I try to send an email to a mailing list I get the
following message back from sendmail

   ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
"|/usr/local/mailman/mail/mailman_wrapper post testmailman"
    (reason: service unavailable)
    (expanded from: <testmailman at step.polymtl.ca>)

   ----- Transcript of session follows -----
smrsh: mailman_wrapper not available for sendmail programs
554 5.0.0 "|/usr/local/mailman/mail/mailman_wrapper post testmailman"...
Service unavailable


 . . . This problem is dealt with in the sendmail FAQ
(http://www.sendmail.org/faq/section3.html#3.34) but they recommand
making a symlink from smrsh.bin/foo to path/foo . . .which I have already
done. . . The permissions to access mailman_wrapper seem allright
(according to bin/check_perms)

and the syslog only shows
