[Mailman-Users] Problems with Footers

This ought to be in the FAQ (maybe it is...).

Anyway, this happens when folks are using html style email and the folks
reading the email are using something like Outlook.

Take a look at the source text of the Message and you will see that the
Footer is actually there.  The email client is not displaying the footer
text because it is tacked onto the end of the html message and comes after
the </html> in the message.

So the real problem is with the email client.

If this really bothers you, then move the information into a header or tell
your folks not to use html email.
