Mailman needs python from  www.python.org, not perl.

Mailman doesn´t work I have a Linux Web Server, Red Hat 6.0,
Python 1.5.1
I have installed perl too
but when my home page is loaded the CGI doesn´t run, just show me the list
of sentences.

What do i have to do?
