Non digest members get each list message individually.

Digest members get list messages grouped together into a single
message "digest", typically once per day, or sooner if the digest
size grows past a configured limit.

Depending on the digest type each member has selected, this digest
message will either be an RFC 1152 plain text format, or a set of
MIME attached messages,
