[Mailman-Users] moving MIME attachments to the server...

I would like to set up a list where attached files are removed from the
message, put on the server, and replaced with a URL before being sent to
the recipients. 

Has anyone done this, or is there a utility that could help me? Someone
here mentioned demime yesterday to strip out attachments, but that's not
quite what I want to do.
