Yes. No. 

Make sure you have your MTA tuned well, especially with DNS lookups on
accept turned off. And realize that it's going to take some time, and with
mailman single-threaded in 2.0.x, while it's delivering, all the other lists
will wait. 

But it works fine on my E250/sendamil box.
