Hi,

I belief that this message doesn't mean thats there is a bug in mailman;
it's an information for end-users;
it was irritating me too, when I was setting up mailman.

There is something wrong with your mailman-installation;
I  suppose - that it have something to do with the access-rights
of some files (config.db maybe);
but upgrading to a recent version is nevertheless a good idea.
