Anyone interested in a script which can change the name of list?
Its shell script which:
Changes the list directory name
Changes the paths in the config.db (using move_list)
Changes the path and filenames of the old list archive
Recreates the archive under the new name (using arch)
Deletes the old archive
Finds umbrella lists with an entry for the old list and changes the entry
Finds and lists with the old list as an 'acceptable alias' and changes the entry.
(the last two require a couple of python scripts which I'll include.)

It works but its not polished.
