[Mailman-Users] users getting mail twice

Hello,

When a user of my mailing list hits the 'g' key in most popular mailers,
a reply is set up that addressed To: listuser at foo.bar, and CC:
thelist at mymachine.

The trouble is that user mentioned in the To: will receive the message
twice.

This is wrong, and it's my understanding that To: listuser and CC:
thelist is perfectly acceptable.

What do I need to do to remedy this?

I am using Mailman version 1.1, and my mailer is Exim 3.12. This is on
a Debian potato box, by the way.

I haven't configured Exim in any way except to add an aliases file:
# Make mailman happy.
mailman_aliases:
        driver = aliasfile
        file_transport = address_file
        pipe_transport = address_pipe
        file = /etc/mailman/aliases
        search_type = lsearch
        user = list

If you need to know anything else, let me know. :)

Thanks in advance.
