[Mailman-Users] "AttributeError: strptime" in mailman/cron/nightly_gzip

On a Linux Mandrake 6.0 with mailman 1.1, I keep receiving these warnings 
from cron:

>   File "/usr/local/mailman/cron/nightly_gzip", line 114, in main
>     time.strptime(f, '%Y-%B.txt')
>AttributeError: strptime

Once a day at 3:27 AM.

It looks like a UID/permissions problem, but -- alas! -- I do not speak 
python. Please, could anybody point me in the right direction?
