[Mailman-Users] Subscription not disabled BUT User not found

Hi there,

I deleted a user (UNIX) account (forgot to unsub him from email list first) 
and then got a bounce message every time people use the list, even after 
I "unsub" the account via Mailing list Configuration  - Membership Management web page.

The bounce message looks like

This is a Mailman mailing list bounce action notice:

    List:       pdf
    Member:     wadsley at xxx.xxx.xx
    Action:     Subscription not disabled.
    Reason:     Excessive or fatal bounces.
    BUT:        User not found.

Does anyone know how to clean it up ?
